Pictures of Places I’ve been to Challenge

I saw this post from Facebook last year and I thought of posting the same on my blog.

The challenge says, “post a picture of some landscape from a place where you have been, where the main requirement is that you do NOT appear in it. Just a picture, no description.”

“The goal is to flood profiles with landscape photos to give a twist on the situation we’re going through.”

“Copy the text to your status, post a photo and let’s travel virtually around the world.”

I’m sharing a few pictures taken by family members. Some were taken either by a co-worker or from the website.

Field trip photos

Showing here some unpublished photos of my daughter from her class field trip at Villa Escudero this year. She had so much fun seeing the different areas of the vast plantation and resort. She and her classmates have lunch at the breath-taking falls restaurant, enjoyed carabao cart ride with friends. They visited the Ascension Church, which is a Spanish-style church that houses and cares for relics and artifacts with historical importance. She took a lot of photos of landscapes and waterfalls. Based on her shots here, here and here, I can say she has the makings of a good photographer someday. I guess it has something to do with her love for art; she has a good eye for nice subjects.

Travel must-have

According to my daughter, her MP3 player and in ear headphones has helped her during their travel to Villa Escudero which is more than two hours away from Manila. She is not used to long travel, but her MP3 was her company during the trip. She told me that the good sound from her music gadget was like lulling her to sleep. She was not bothered after all by the noise emanating from the bus engine or the chatting and laughter of her classmates.
